Wonder Story!!

Dearest friends, affiliates, and otherwise; today I come to you all with a review of Wunderwelt’s service. You see, about five months ago, I spotted a glorious dress on their site, Angelic Pretty’s Wonder Story JSK, and I simply had to own it. The price was good, I had the money, and everything was set... until I realized that I did not have a PayPal account nor a credit card. So off to my mother I went, to whom I pleaded with to allow me to buy the dress and pay her back. However, she would not permit me to buy it until after Christmas (It was November at the time).

Time passes, and everyday I am checking back on Wunderwelt. December begins soon enough, and suddenly, the dress was gone. I was distraught. I had the money! I had the means! But I did not have the patience... until about a week and half later when the exact same Wonder Story comes up for the exact same price. It had returned! So Christmas Day, after presents are opened and patience is thin, I beg my mother to let me buy the dress. She agreed.

A few days later, Wunderwelt emails me saying that all e-packet and air mail orders will be held until those services reopen. They offered a different shipping service: Yamato. I, being the dumb that I am, didn’t actually realize there was a second shipping option until the end of January (I received the email on the 28th of December)! So the last week of January, I change to ship via Yamato. Bad idea. Now, Wunderwelt is a wonderful service, and I’m thankful that they not only provided a secondary shipping option, but were also very communicative, considerate, and helpful. Yamato, on the other hand, was not communicative, considerate, nor helpful.

The first time Wunderwelt tried to ship my order, the Yamato staff forgot to provide the correct documents for my package. Then, my package was returned to Wunderwelt because the label and documents had expired. And finally, my package was once again returned to Wunderwelt without explanation. It finally arrived at my house the evening of the 12th of March.

The Timeline:

Dec. 25th - Order is made and payed for

Dec. 28th - Yamato is offered

Jan. 24th - The shipping is changed to Yamato

Feb. 19th - Order is finally shipped

Mar. 1st - Order marked as returned because documents expired

Mar. 4th - Order marked as returned again because it was rejected at the facility

Mar. 11th - I ask about whether my order has been shipped out again

Mar. 12th - Dress arrives

Despite all the issues, I want to thank Wunderwelt for being very helpful, and sending out my order every time without additional cost. The whole situation was frustrating, but at least Wunderwelt was considerate of this, and communicated with me well, with fast replies. So I do recommend Wunderwelt; I’d use it again in a heart beat- just not with Yamato.
